Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp caramel sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp heavy cream
  • A pinch of salt (optional)
  • Extra caramel sauce (for drizzling)
  • Caramel candies (optional)
Step By Step Method

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Mix in the vanilla extract and caramel sauce. Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
