Egg Molettes are a unique and delicious twist on stuffed eggs, often filled with veggies and cheese for a savory breakfast or snack. These flavorful egg molettes are easy to make and can be customized with your favorite fillings!
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped bell peppers (red, green, or yellow)
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Oil or butter for greasing
Step By Step Method
Step 01.
Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of boiling water for about 8-10 minutes.
Step 02.
Remove the eggs, let them cool slightly, and peel the shells.
Step 03.
Slice each egg in half lengthwise and gently scoop out the yolks, keeping the whites intact as "shells."
Step 04.
In a mixing bowl, mash the egg yolks with a fork.
Step 05.
Add chopped onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, cilantro, grated cheese, salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if desired). Mix well.
Step 06.
Spoon the yolk mixture into each egg white half, pressing gently to pack the filling.

Top each stuffed egg with a little extra grated cheese for an added cheesy flavor.
